也沒有正式統計過, 印象中以往好像沒有一年導演公會及監製公會的提名會是完全吻合, 今年的應是首次。而即將公佈的編劇公會提名, 以上六套劇情主導的電影, 估計亦會全部榜上有名。

幾可肯定, 《The Queen》、《The Departed》及《Dreamgirls》這三套電影在老早前已被視為奧斯卡提名大熱電影必定入圍Oscar Best Picture, 《Babel》應也不會大有大問題, 而小本經營爆冷賣座的《Little Miss Sunshine》看來亦能成就她的"For Your Consideration"宣傳廣告中的"Little Best Picture"。

《Little Miss Sunshine》是去年云云荷里活電影中成本效益最高的第二位, 票房是成本的11倍(第1是《Borat》的13倍, 第三是《The Devil Wears Prada》的9倍), 證明電影要名利雙收, 小本製作亦能飛上枝頭, 只要用之以心便行。
