首次看完此電影時感覺還是很平凡, 但當躺於床上合上雙眼, 一段又一段的片段彷是空中塵埃般浮現不斷。在辦公室裡, 在巴士上, 地鐡月台上, 等待朋友中, 每當獨個兒靜下來時便又會再度想起Ennis Del Mar及Jack "Fucking" Twist的欲斷難斷半生緣。李安導演功力上乘, 把小小短編化作細緻有力攝人生死戀；Heath Ledger把Ennis一角演化成活生生的真人物, 個人認為絕對是Performance of the Decade；還有Gustavo Santaolalla的結他音符及Rodrigo Prieto的草原白雲影像...經典。人與人的關係, 從未如此需要反省而這樣美麗。
